mark Hi Mark, My in-laws live in Baltimore and they called a while ago to let us know they were snowed in. We didn't tell them it was 80 degrees and sunny here in Fort Lauderdale. BTW, what is a pysanky? God Bless! Jenny/Janka

Mark,
I know I should have gone home LAST night instead of waiting until this morning! I'm stuck at my parents' house in CAtonsville with no change of clothes and a sugar-hyped five year old.
PRAY FOR ME PLEASE!!! :p

Well, I just came back from outside, where my dad and I were using the snowblower to clean out some of the about 16" or whatever out there before the really, really heavy stuff and the blizzard conditions come in here overnight. We're supposed to end up with nearly 30" or something. This is in Hershey, Pennslyvania, about 15-20 minutes east of Harrisburg. My dad is most likely not going to work tomorrow and probably not many others will be. I haven't heard lately but most work places are closed except for essential personnel. And of course the schools are closed. Stay warm and safe, everyone here in the mid-Atlantic In Christ, Timothy, servant of God

Hi, everybody!!!
Just think of the snow as a bit of Heaven!!!
Also, take advantage of it and have some kind of fun with family or friends---whether it's out in the snow or inside playing games!!! Make something good and enjoyable out of it!!!

You should come out to sunny California. While you guys are freezing in the snow, I am looking right down onto the Pacific Ocean. But I have to admit its chilly outside, its about 63 degrees.

Hey Mikey,
I'm in Edmonson Heights behind Social Security. If the sugar rush kid gets to be too much, come on over!

In the city where I am now we have like 85 F Here this "winter" has been unusually hot even for Mex. :p I remember that last year in Mex City, in february, they still had like 40 F, that was better. I would love to have a nice winter with snow and nice things:) . Look at the possitive aspects, you can dress as you like and wear nice clothes and British coats while here we're forced to wear shorts and t-shirts all year long. (and it's like Hell when we have to wear suits for work :p

Guys [and Gals of course ] I feel sorry for you - here it's only cold with heavy frosts in the morning [ and I have no sympathy for those with garages who leave their cars on the street and then moan about scraping them ]. But at least you know how to cope with the 'solid white stuff' - here we come to a standstill with 2ins of it. I mean it's the 'wrong 'variety so trains can't cope - what an excuse !! And we've only had 1 lot of it as yet . Take care all of you - wrap up warm - keep a note of oldies near you who might need help. Mark keep those eggs a rolling Easter is comiing !!

mark Mark, I just might have to wade through the snow today and take you up on that. His sister will be joining us, as she walks over with her mother from Arbutus. Let the President's Day Fights begin!!! :p The worst thing is I have so many things I can actually do at my own house in DC that being snowed in would not bother me...but here, there's NOTHING. Well, except the computer. I feel like I'm in college again.

Dear Mark, What I believe Anhelyna to be telling you is to . . . get cracking! Up here in the so-called frozen North, we are being let off easily this winter . . . For us, "enough of this crap" has to do with some of the political statements of our government leaders . . . Alex

Ah but there could be a problem with that If Mark gets 'cracking' then the steam that would be generated will melt the snow - and that could possibly stop the production of those gorgeous pysanky [ err ..is there a plural form of pysanky ?]. I suspect a happy medium is called for - enough solid white stuff to prevent him going to work but not so much as to completely frustrate him Anhelyna -- who herself is frustrated by the reappearance of the dreaded 'unchunk thingie' that has returned once more to haunt her. -- I hate switching Browsers

Dear Anhelyna,
Yes, "Pysanky" is the plural. "Pysanka" is the singular.
Not that you needed to know that . . .
Alex
