Hey,

I came across a Frappr Map! I had never heard of such a thing. So here it is. It will show us how we are spread throughout the world. Our own version of "Wheres Waldo" biggrin I checked with admin and it is ok to add this to the site, just thought it would be fun.

Use the link below and add your name and zip code. I just used Pani Rose. Don't worry about giving your email address, when it asks if you want to set up a frappr account just click "No Thanks" and it will finish up. Then it shows where you are on the map.

The arrows in the upper left of the map move it around so you can see where all the markers are.

When you cliked the NO THANKS it should have taken you right to the map.

Dwight thanks so much for adding your picture. And here I thought you had brown hair wink

Fr. Anthony, that is so cool. How wonderful to see you and some of your youth, thanks for sharing the picture.

Dan,

The map is right above the pictures. It has little red markers on it that show the approximate location. When you click on the link it is what it opens up to, the map.

Funny, so far none of us are in the same state.

I really thought we would be a lot closer location wise. Humm, maybe that is what keeps us posting and chatting on the web. biggrin

Hey,

Fr. Anthony just told me about Catholic Insider, they have a flapper map. So I checked it out, and came across a podcast someone does. It is rather interesting. The whole site is interesting. Thought you might be interested.
http://www.frappr.com/catholicinsider

Especially since it seems to use a lot of pod casting which they have mentioned on the evangelization forum. Here is the site link
http://www.catholicinsider.com/

I guess the link I found on there with a song about a frpper map is from Rosary Army. The pod cast is from there. http://www.rosaryarmy.com/

Neat, I'll bet Pastor and Mrs Berean are the first Baptists on the map smile .

This is fun, I added one to a Baptist Forum I administer!

All I see is a blank page with pictures at the bottom. There doesn't even appear a "no thanks". I use Internet Explorer and I've written the administrator and await his/her reply.

Oh, well.

It is a slow load up even with DSL, if you are on dial-up it could take a good long time.

Ok I am so dump!

If you click on the pictures or the names as they appear on the right, where the names are in light blue, then the marker comes up for that name. That is why the shout out thing. If you make a statement they post it with the name for the marker. Also if you have put a picture with it the picture comes up with the statement.

I may be the last figuring this out, but I was totally supprised when I clicked on one of the pictures to the right.

So when I clicked on OLSOL it brought up Anhelyna and then you can see Pastor Rogers marker just below it. When you click on his the picture comes up.

Seeing all the pictures is so cool!

So try the names to the right and see if it shows up there.
