MISSION AND EVANGELIZATION: THE CARDINALS AGENDA FOR A NEW PAPACY.
Edited by Michael A. Hayes
"In the last year of John Paul II's papacy a number of the world's most prominent Cardinals were invited to outline the agendas for mission and evangelization in the years ahead, with a new papacy in prospect.
The Church's self-understanding has moved from "the Church has a mission" to "the Church is mission." It is the mission of every Christian to be an evangelizer.
This mission and the work of evangelization are explored in this book by eight cardinals. They offer through various experiences around the world a clarification and understanding of the terms "mission" and "evangelization". They show the importance of context in carrying out the mission of Christ, whether in a country, a diocese, a parish, or a school. They show that there is always an urgency in the proclamation of Christ as the redeeming saviour. And that this proclamation calls for dialogue within the Christian community, with other religious tradition, and with all people of good will."

It would be good to read what the Cardinals wrote about mission and evangelization.
