I admit it - I'm absolutely addicted to these guys! I download and play their mp3's all the time. They do a marvellous job of catechizing in the Orthodox faith.

God grant them many years!

I love them, too. I came to know of them through Ancient Faith Radio, which I leave playing almost 24/7.

Does anyone know if they can be downloaded through iTunes? Unfortunately this is the only MP3 download program I have and I am extremely reluctant to put any others media programs on my on my computer. I have too many conflicting programs in the past that could only be resolved by a total reformat of my system.

Father Anthony,

I was able to download them on my Mac - I believe I moved the mouse over them and pressed the 'SHIFT' key...and option window came up and I dowloaded it and then burned it to my MP3 player. I've been walking around Tokyo all day listening to them. (Except of course when I attended services at Nicholai-do, which were simply marvellous.)

I can ask my sons to see if they know how to get them through iTunes if you like. They are the iTunes wizards, not I.

Peace,

Gordo

Gordo,

That is the only way I will download MP3s. I have both Mac and PC capabilities. In my home office, it is strictly PC, while in the office it is Mac. It is one of the few cross platform download programs that I trust.

They are available through iTunes:

1. Go to the iTunes store
2. Choose Podcasts
3. Then Religion & Culture as the catagory
4. Type in Our Life In Christ
5. Subscribe

Father Jim,

Thank you ever so much for the help. I will certainly be subscribing to the programs this afternoon.

Gordo,

If spiritual edification and enlightenment becomes a habit, then let me have to concern myself at the dread judgement seat of having to account for this vice. In the meantime, I will simply try to enjoy it. Father Jim's instructions on how to subscribe to it on iTunes was right on the mark. It now has been added to the different podcasts that I will be listening to.

Steve & Bill do their homework, truly are humble about the rich faith they share. They are respectful of others but are true to their beloved faith. Their program is well named Our Life in Christ. It is always about Christ not them. I pray that we would all take their wonderful example in faith sharing. Oh to have, Our Life in Christ, habit forming!!!

My wife commutes to Atlanta two days per week and has a good 2 hour drive. She has been listening to books on CD. I've been thinking about burning some of these onto a CD for her. She is also considering converting with me. Do you think these would be good for her to listen to? I haven't listened to them yet. Peace in Christ,

Joe

Having listen to the latest episode yesterday on my iPod, I have to say it is a relaxed and refreshing format with quality content. I am going to reserve judgement as to whether or not it becomes one my favorite podcasts for a few more episodes. I say this as not to say that I have any reservations regarding the program or its contents, but Ancient Faith Radio has not in the past proven to be reliable in providing a regular schedule and release of podcast programming. This is evident in some of their other listings in iTunes Music Store and significant gaps in releases or total discontinuing of their program releases altogether. In other words their consistency in the past has something to be desired in their committment to this media.
