Marc,

Go to iTunes Podcasts. Click on religion/spirituality, then click on Christianity, and then scroll down to Light of the East and hit the subscribe button and enjoy!

Update:

I just updated to the latest iTunes version 6.0. Go to the Music Store. Click on podcasts. Then you can either do a podcast search for "Light of the East" or click under podcasts, then religion/spirituality, and then scroll down to "Light of the East". It would be great if the producer could put the first 52 shows on MP3 format.

It looks like that might be in the works. If you click on the arrow that displays all tracks for the album, you will get the last 11 Broadcasts.

I love this!!! Go Fr. Loya!!

Perhaps this was made possible with the launch by EWTN, on its 25th anniversary, MP3 podcasting?

The story:

EWTN GLOBAL CATHOLIC NETWORK LAUNCHES MP3 PODCASTING

Spreading the Word with Cutting Edge Technology

Irondale, AL (EWTN) – EWTN Global Catholic Network is now offering podcasts of selected programs in MP3 format at no charge on its Internet website www.ewtn.com. [ewtn.com.] Podcast listeners typically download audio files from the Web onto a computer, transfer the files to a digital audio player, such as an Apple's IPod, and listen when convenient. Often the audio files are posted online in a way that allows software on a person's computer to detect and download new podcasts automatically. According to a recent report, more than 22 million American adults own portable MP3 players and six million of them have downloaded podcasts from the Internet.

The EWTN podcast will offer readings and the homily from the televised daily Mass from Our Lady of the Angels Chapel in Irondale, Alabama; daily installments of EWTN's Open Line radio programs; weekly installments of EWTN's live programs: Sunday Night Live, The Journey Home, Mother Angelica Live Classics, Threshold of Hope and EWTN Live. In addition, each month EWTN will make available, for a limited time, an entire TV series selected from those most popular on the Network. The first being offered is the classic, EWTN International Rosary, which presents the Joyful, Sorrowful, Luminous and Glorious Mysteries.

In announcing this new service, EWTN's President, Michael P. Warsaw noted, “The Network is pleased to be able to offer programming by podcast. Throughout our 25 year history, EWTN has always embraced new technology to carry out its mission of evangelization. This new podcasting initiative compliments our existing audio and video streaming and enables us to spread the Gospel to an even wider audience.

EWTN's podcast can be accessed at http://www.ewtn.com/podcast

EWTN Global Catholic Network, in its 25th year, is available in more than 118 million television households in 127 countries. And with its worldwide short-wave radio station, direct broadcast satellite service, satellite delivered AM & FM radio network, satellite radio service (SIRIUS), Internet website (www.ewtn.com [ewtn.com]) and publishing arm, EWTN is the largest religious media network in the world.
