I missed the Evan Chat all together Thursday nite. I got home from Payer Meeting and everyone was gone.
When did you all decide to chat again?

Most of the decisions had already been made. Only a few stopped by, many being out of town. We will check in again next Thursday at 9:30 p.m. I believe the remaining chats will be to answer questions from those who still have a few questions.

We've worked out the method very well and we should have many exciting ideas to work with.

We have a plan of implementation.

Bishop John will open with liturgy and close with a blessing and commission.

Transcriptions will be taken and we are working on a plan for audio taping and perhaps even video taping.

The only sticking point so far is that we don't know if every Church in the eparchy, even the metropolia, is invited. But then, God does. Father says, don't worry about lunch. We have it well in hand no matter how many come, even if they don't preregister.

Given what God has done through him, I'm not surprised.

Dear Chtec:

Was it you who called me?

Sorry I did not get onto chat that night. I have visitors come over.

Ray,

I called you.

Eric,

Is there anyway that the website forum can be seen by participants? It seems to me that the comments would inspire the comments of others.

Dan,

Which forum are you referring to? This one? And which participants are you referring to?

If copies need to be made, then I will make them, but if you are talking online access, then we may have problems.

I still don't know if there will be time for us to pull in a phone line so that we can try to do some sort of webcast there or have online access.

So you want to link this area of the forum or the whole forum.

John,

No, I really don't want to link anything to anything. What I'd like those who are registering online to the website created by Eric to be able to do is read what they post on there and to read what others post there as well.

You may well have a far grander scheme in mind than I ever conceived...but your idea may be excellent.

No Dan,

My mind was pretty empty and I couldn't wrap it around what you wanted to see.

Now, John, you are too humble. You are a visionary. Eric got back to me and said that there isn't enough time to do what I ask and even if we did it might be counterproductive just now. Maybe later.

The chat room you have been having discussions in GCN, they will co-brand a chat room specificallly for you. It would be specially designed for your sight, if that is something you are interested in. You are always welcome to use churchbulletin anytime for chat and discussion though.

Pani,

The problem is that the software is too machine specific. Not all Mac users or linux users have emulation software that will allow them to enter the room.

I am hoping to implement a non-machine specific chat room so that us lowly unix and linux users can chat too.

John,

I don't know if your systems are "lowly" or not, but I do hear that they aren't invaded by viruses. That seems very appealing to me.
