Carson:

I expect to be in Chicago within the next few weeks in April or May. Is there a particular day that would be best to meet you in person?

Looking forward to discussing the Good News,

FDD,

I think that it would be helpful if there was some type of training video on the subject.

Also, is there an approved version of this by the Metropolia of Pittsburgh, the Melkites, the Ukrainians, etc.? Not that I am opposed AT ALL to using Orthodox texts, but I was curious how Eastern Catholic jurisdictions are equipped to handle such a concept (which is a brilliant one, I might add).

Others might consider contacting this wonderful Orthodox vendor - Christian Decor. Although I have experienced the joy of building an iconostasis (it is still used by the Minneapolis parish for their monthly outreach in St. Paul), it is much easier (and cheaper!) to go with Christian Decor and their portable iconostasis system. the one that is pictured is their FULL iconsotasis. If you contact them, they can send you information on a far less expensive (and more portable) one that they have created for mission work.

FDD, how about a training workshop on this topic along with a few talks on Byzantine evangelization and mission work? I'd definitely fly in for that. We could stay at the Franciscan sister's convent down there in KC.

Just a thought...
