I was shocked to see all the private messages which I have deleted over the years, reappear with this new program!

Dear Alice,

Yes, when I first saw that right after the upgrade, I found that to be most interesting and in some cases amusing to reread some of those old PMs that I thought were long gone. It looks like you have one of two choices, either delete them all over again, or in my case leave them this time and enjoy looking back at some of them.

It kind of strikes me as something like you watch on some programs where a person has deleted everything, but they can go over the computer and find it anyway. biggrin It was still there!

I really like the new red header on the daily Scripture Reading. It really grabs your attention, and I think that sometimes we forget just why we really are here, and pay too much attention to gossip and trivia, and not enough on what is most important, our Salvation. I know that the new header makes me pause and think before I hit the keys.

I keep getting e-mails indicating that I have PM's waiting for me. Then I check the PM Box and there is nothing new. Is there a delay perhaps from previous messages or are the PM's working right now?

Alice:

I was recently advised that anything one puts out in cyberspace will be there forever. (DO DO, DO DO, DO DO . . . .) But this person also told me that a TV special had revealed that everything we do seems to get placed in some database--so why worry!?!?

Consider yourself lucky! I can't get emails to come to me for anything. I select to watch everything and to receive emails for watched topics, and still nothing. frown

I have had nothing but difficulty.

It rejected my password several times.

It doesn't let me choose an avatar.

It seems difficult to find things that used to be easy.

I suppose I will get used to it, or get anonymous.

I love the new format, now instead of printing twenty pages of all the post, I can just email myself a single post and voila!
Isn't technology wonderful.

I have to say, looking at the section that displays the daily scripture quote, I like the insertion of an icon of the saint of feast for today. I hope that when they are available, we can continue to have them displayed. I believe this will help some recognize and have a spiritual focus before they read and post.

Pani Rose,

You may want to readjust your monitor or graphic settings in your control panel. Definitely not orange, but more to a beige. Take it from the one using the color palette and assisting with the change to compliment the page with the new logo. Right now we are working with colors to see what will work best, and will be an ongoing process for the next couple evenings. Please be patient.

Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

Well now it is the blue and light green again. But, honestly it was bright orange biggrin biggrin biggrin too funny. It was like the colors that are displayed in the icon logo at top, only the whole thing was like that.
