Christ is born!

Please pray for Deacon Charles Burger, his wife Pani Barbara and their son Ivan. On Christmas day, after Divine Liturgy, they left to go visit a relative and were involved in a horrible car accident. Only Deacon Charles survived, and he is in very critical condition (although he did respond by moving his fingers while being anointed at the hospital).

[font:Century Gothic]Oh dear God! cry How horrible! frown

May God have mercy on the souls of Pani Barbara and Ivan! May he bring them to a place of light and refreshment where there is no pain and suffering...
May God grant full healing to Deacon Charles for him to continue in his ministry, may He also grant him strength from above to endure the unspeakable sorrow and grief which he will experience.
May our blessed Lady bring him consolation and motherly love.

Humbly in Christ,

Christ is Born!

There has been no change in Deacon Charles' condition. He is still on life support and unresponsive. The family has decided to wait several more days to see if there will be any improvement. So, we have time for all of our prayers to the Holy Spirit to accumulate and hopefully influence a successful recovery miracle.

I can't think of anything positive for this situation.

May something positive somehow come out of this in some way for the Deacon and his spiritual family in Christ. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit may he find the silver lining to this horrible dark cloud.
In Christ.

His experience reminds me of Job. Job had his loss replaced. I pray he can start another family somehow.

Five minutes later I still have this sick feeling about this. I'm sure all who have read this feel the same way.

This incident is a slap in the face of Christ. There has to be a full recovery in Christ. Nothing else is possible.
