Dear John,
It's not behind us. All things like this take time to assimilate. Any liturgical changes are hard to digest, whether they are good or bad.
The next step is digestion.

I just had Ouzo, Apricot Kolache, and 90% off Christmas Candy. That taste just will not leave my mouth.
I will have to study extra hard at Greek School tomorrow night. But even though I am a beginner, I know what Anthropos really means.

Father David:
Bless!
Now that it's all official, will the final form be available in electronic format somewhere?

You sir, just gave me the biggest laugh of the day (in a postive way).

Christ is baptized! In the Jordan!
The complete letter of promulgation is, in fact, signed by all four hierarchs, and is published for the entire Byzantine Catholic Church sui juris in the U.S.A.
Prof. J. Michael Thompson Byzantine Catholic Seminary Pittsburgh, PA Hospodij Pomiluij!!! Please pass the Brioschi!!

Does this mean no non-English Divine Liturgies after Peter & Paul? If so, I mourn the loss of liturgies in Church Slavonic, but even more the loss of any Spanish language use in the Divine Liturgy. So much for outreach...

Dear Father Anthony,
I understand that you need to keep order here, but I am not sure what the limits are?
Are we allowed to say how disappointed we are that the Archbishop has done this?
Are we allowed to say we think it is the biggest mistake he has ever made? Are we allowed to say that we still think it is a big waste of time, money, energy, etc.?
Are we allowed to say that we think this is a great step backward for our Church, and for the cause of Church unity?
Etc.?
Nick

Nick, Are we allowed to say how disappointed we are that the Archbishop has done this? I think you just did. Might I add that I agree with you. Perhaps this is the final nail in the coffin for the BCC. I wonder if this is how Bishop Basil wants to be remembered?

Is it against the forum rules and regulations for a thread to be started for people who might feel compelled to join an Orthodox Church (ACROD)? Specifically, a thread of like minded individuals in a specific geographical area?
I wish to be more specific. This thread would be of people who haven't made up there mind one way or another.

I still want to know who is going to have to pay for all the books! My parish can barely afford utilities and insurance and yet we're going to be forced to buy pew books and an altar missal?
