Yet again I come to you, dear brothers and sisters, with a prayer request.

Now it is for by brother-in-law, Ray.

In addition of getting into the "official" phase of his divorce, he had a kidney stone removed during the weekend. They used ultrasound, so the procedure was not very tolling. Regardless, he should be resting, but he insists in going to work.

Please pray that this does not complicate things and that the stone did not damage his kidney too much.

Please pray also for my parents-in-law, Rafael and Josefina. Rafael, in particular, did not take his son's illness very well and is now experiencing stress-related digestive problems. I am told he's lost about 10 lb. over the last few days.

May God bless you and reward your generous donation of your prayer time for this and other intentions posted through this forum.

Shalom,
Memo

Dear Memo,

My humble prayers for your mother and father in law, Rafael and Josefina...may our good Lord give them strength in everything.

Prayers also for their son, Ray...may he be healed quickly and completely, always giving thanks to the Lord for all things. May his divorce give him a chance to humbly contemplate and to grow closer to
the Lord at this emotionally vulnerable time, rather than to espouse the bitterness which so many feel.

Prayers also for you, Memo, that the Lord will bless you for your love and charity towards your wife's family.

In Christ, our hope,
Alice

For Ray...
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil...

For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
