Dear Friends:
Well, here we are again starting the beginning of our preparation for Great Lent. Thanks be to God, all Christians will be celebrating the Feast of Feasts on the same date this year. I pray that each of us may begin this day with a heart that is open to divine instruction. The commemorations on these Sundays offer examples on how God interacts with His people and how He is deeply in love with you and me. He desires communion with us. Just as Christ said to Zacchaeus, may it be with you also: may salvation come to your house this day!

And [Zacchae'us] sought to see who Jesus was. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him. And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham." (Luke 19:3, 4, 9 Sunday of Zacchaeus /

I found this all very interesting tonight and the thoughts I had were of life.

Adams life and ours ended with a tree
Zacchae'us life began with a tree
Ours too began with anew because of a tree

Salvation came to us, because Christ chose to give us life with his life given up for us on that cross.
