One of my fellow teachers, Pam, has had what her doctors call a mini-stroke in one eye. She can see almost nothing, yet some doctors tell her that her eyesight will return in that eye in a few months. Other doctors have told her it won't get much better. I do believe in the power of prayer, so I ask your prayers that sight will return to Pam's eye.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, come dear Lord and watch with mercy to Pam, touch and heal her eye. Amin.

Steady prayer for Pam's healing.

Prayers, through the intercessions of St. Paraskevi (Paraskeva in Sl.) for Pam. May our Lord restore her eyesight quickly.

I appreciate your prayers for my fellow teacher. You can imagine what this eye problem does to a language arts teacher who has to read heavily.

Place the annointing on Pam's eyes Jesus as you did that of the blind man that she may be healed...
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil...

For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Through the intercession of St. Lucy, I pray that Pam's vision will be restored. Lord have mercy on your servant Pam!
