To the contrary, having tasted my aunt's self-proclaimed "Tofurkey", I would pronounce the eating of tofu trying to be meat as a greater sacrifice than the giving up of meat.

Fr. Vasiliy of the Onion Dome has mused, in an old column, that margarine during the fast might confuse the angels who are trying to defend you on judgement day. However, the good father maintains that soy milk does not break the fast. Not even the angels are fooled by soy milk. So there you have it. Is outrage! biggrin
