Now this is fascinating...a mother suing for the cost of raising the child she had after a "botched" abortion. I couldn't find it posted here (if it was someplace I missed, I apologize!), but think it is an interesting discussion piece!

Oh dear! Well, perhaps she should also sue for psychiatric care costs for her child, since her daughter will need years of intensive medication and therapy because of her mother's actions and attitude. God have mercy on this poor little girl and may this woman be brought to repentance.

In my parts if she won that lawsuit it'd be said that she "won the white-trash lottery." Hey it's the general forum, let's laugh once in a while.

I'm laughing wryly because if I didn't I'd be flooding the place with my tears cry

That poor wee child growing up to learn

Mommy tried to kill her - but it didn't work

Mommy was so mad at the doctors that when she was born she decided the sue the doctors who didn't kill her.

What a start in life cry

This is soooooooooooo sad - I really can't laugh
Poor wee unwanted child of what turns out to be a money grabbing vindictive woman. What a parent that woman will be frown

If the mother did not have the financial resources to care for the child, she should have given her up for adoption. I can only imagine how this little girl will feel when she someday learns that her mother tried to abort her.

Should this woman win her suit, I could only wish that the abortionist would have to pay the damages out of his own pocket rather than further run up the malpractice insurance premiums for obstetricians, many of whom are leaving practice because of such frivolous lawsuits.

BTW, my hometown shut down its obstetrics department because of the costs and lawsuits.

I read about a little girl who was aborted and survived. She was adopted. IIRC, she saw her birth mother on the TV and recognized her, contacted her, and has brought a great amount of healing to all involved. Despite the physical limitations she has (directly due to the abortion), she was a happy child who was glad to be alive. At the time, she was traveling the country with the pro-life message of hope and healing.

May this second little girl be as blessed, and bring such blessings to us all!
