Unfortunately the UOC-KP and UAOC are uncononical. The only two canonical Churches in Kyiv are UOC-MP(to which MOST Ukrainians belong and the head of which His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr is an ethnic Ukrainian) and UAOC under Constantinople of which there aren't many Churches in the Ukraine and of which I myself am a part of.

Certainly I believe that UOC-MP will be granted autocephally, and certainly I agree with the fact that this is long overdue.

As of the "boil"...

If you think that the fact that Orthodox Churches were broken into, people kicked out, the Gifts desecrated, Orthodox Priests beaten by Greek Catholic worshipers in West Ukraine is not an obstacle and not bringing things to a boil, I don't really know what to tell you.

Any such violence does not forward Christian charity. Could you point me towards some factual evidence that this actually happened? Considering the events of 1946 and afterwards entailing the desecration of Greek Catholic churches, the genocide against its people and clergy, and the taking of basically all Greek Catholic properties, it is a difficult situation in Western Ukraine. The return of confiscated property alone is indeed a sensitive issue. I am happy that our church and the KP and UAOC have amicable relations, and hope and pray that extends to the UOC-MP as well. I am not as confident of autocephaly from Moscow for the UOC-MP, however.

May we please have some specific evidence for the truth of these charges? When and where did these things happen, who precisely did them, and what evidence is there?

Moreover, since these events are said to have occurred in West Ukraine, what have they to do with the Greek-Catholic Church in Belarus?
