While doing some photo searching for work I ran across a website for the Library of Congress titled American Memory
Website Link [
memory.loc.gov]. If you type in Byzantine Catholic, Greek Catholic, Orthodox, etc., you can access some incredible historical photos of mainly churches, but also individuals and ethnic neighborhoods.
One of the most interesting churches (architecturally) I found in my brief survey was a photo of the Holy Trinity Russian & Greek Orthodox Church, 1121 North Leavitt Street, Chicago, Cook County, IL.
Some of the cutlines (i.e., photo captions) range from almost making you laugh to making you cringe.
A blessed Great Fast and glorius Pascha to all.
