This evening (Monday March 27th) I watched an outstanding film documentary programme on the Motherhouse of the Basilian Sisters, at Mount Saint Macrina in Uniontown. It was broadcast on a Pittsburgh Public Television Station, channel 13, WQED. The "on'Q'" programme was broadcast twice this evening (7.30 p.m. and 11.30 p.m.). I understand it will be re-broadcast tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday March 28th) at 12.30 p.m.

It was a wonderful programme, with views of the historic buildings, and footage of the sisters at Liturgy in the Motherhouse chapel. There were fine interviews with some of the sisters, and accounts of their good work.

The documentary also used historic film from the great pilgrimages of the past, including images of Archbishop Nicholas (Elko). There were wonderful film images of Archbishop Fulton (Sheen) in Mandyas, and others of Archbishop Fulton in Byzantine Pontifical vestments, celebrating the Liturgy during the annual Labor Day pilgrimage.

If you have access to Pittsburgh televsion, and channel 13 (PBS) WQED, you may want to view or record this fine programme.

the unworthy,
Elias

What was the name of the program?

I have Tivo ( a great tool for a dummy like me ) so I could program it to be recorded. I might be able to find it on one of my PBS stations in my area

Sounds like a great show.

As Hieromonk Elias wrote, the show is "OnQ."

It's a local program that airs on Pittsburgh's public television station, WQED, not on public stations around the country.
