Michael Ignatieff Confirms Nomination in Etobicoke-
Lakeshore

Toronto (March 25, 2007) - Michael Ignatieff, Member of
Parliament for Etobicoke-Lakeshore accepted the nomination
to seek re-election and was unanimously endorsed by the
executive of the Etobicoke-Lakeshore Federal Liberal
Association.
Michael Ignatieff was nominated by the Hon. Laurel Broten,
Minister of the Environment and MPP for Etobicoke-
Lakeshore, during a packed meeting on Sunday afternoon at
the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Michael�s
Ukrainian Catholic Church in Etobicoke.
"Michael continues to provide a powerful progressive voice
for Etobicoke-Lakeshore," said Laurel Broten. "I am
excited by the excellent work he has done in the
community, and am proud to support his re-election."
"Michael's leadership in the community is bringing
meaningful change to the residents of Etobicoke-
Lakeshore," said James Maloney, President of the Etobicoke-
Lakeshore Federal Liberal Association. "Our executive and
membership are strongly supportive of the work Michael is
doing as our MP and we will work hard to secure his re-
election."
"Michael is a passionate, principled, and effective
advocate for Etobicoke-Lakeshore," said Father Terry
Lozynsky who seconded the nomination. "Over the past year
Michael has demonstrated that our community can count on
his dedication and tenacity to get things done."

election," said Michael Ignatieff upon accepting the
nomination. "I�m grateful to have the continued support
of Laurel, Terry, Jamie, and the riding association and am
