Dear Father Stephanos,
I once came very close to death by choking, and was saved by the Heimlich Maneuver--glory to God. What happened to little Karl that he became brain damaged?
My humble and unworthy prayers that he will be miraculously healed. May God comfort his parents and all at the Nursery School. Through the intercessions of all the Saints, I pray this in the name of the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. AMEN!

He apparently chocked on some meat. His father is a nurse and tried to to resusutation but he died and was then revived later at the hospital but the time was a little too long.
Please pray for him I was at the Hospital today and anointed him, his poor little body was trembling.

May You, in all Your compassion and wisdom, look over little Karl. Free him from the evil that has overtaken him, and help him grow in every way, fully utilizing all the abilities that were given him from the day he was born...and may it be for Your glory.

The latest news is that poor Karl is brain dead.
I would imagine it is only a matter of time so please pray for his family especially his twin brother who was so loving and caring towards him.

I spent the entire afternoon until 10 tonight with the family.
Then I had to have a talk with his three syblings about death and what it meant, we then went into Karl Joshua's room and said the prayers for the dying. Then I instructed the children to say good by to their brother and kiss him.
It was hard but at the same time it was healing.
His twin then finally let out all the feelings he was holding inside by this wall that he set around himself.
It would break your heart but the family had great faith.

Tomorrow they will do another brain scan. Outside of divine intervention he will not make it.
