I filled out the comment form yesterday and today received an automated email response that basically thanked me, while stating they receive millions of emails and can't read them all.
Are we sure our complaints are even getting through?

Yes, and MSNBC just did a little article mostly saying it was contract issues but at the very bottom of the article it says
that AFA was about to lauch some campaign against Disney for her insulting comments against Catholics....

First shock that a Protestant org would come to Catholics defense but second shock that they probably did can Rosie over the remarks but they won't admit it....

I am so thankful! The venom that has been spued forth from her mouth, is, well...

But you know, I really think it was a money thing like with Imus. If they weren't loosing money they would have met her match. I wonder if she didn't pull the stunt money to get them to cut her loose. I mean this is really not what Disney 'likes' to represent. Although they do, in a lot of ways.

The thing that is most sad for her though, is her self esteem. She must not have any - or at least extremely - very low self esteem to do what she did.

And too, when she said she cussed at the children and the audience clapped. OH MY! It makes one wonder where they are at too. So Sad!

It's always nice to read good news. I pray that she remains out of the public eye and receives the message of Christ while she is away.

Rosie may not be completely gone yet. Apparently her contract was up in May or June and there were rumours that she didn't want to renew, and wanted off the show. The scary possiblity is that now that she is free from the Disney contract, she is free to contract for her own show on syndication.

I heard that she will still be on the View for a month or so as her contract runs out. Hopefully I heard wrong and tomorrow the View will air sans Rosie.

BTW,
I sent a comment to the Clorax company, one of the sponsors of the View. The reply I received was the biggest pile of double speak I've seen in a while. On one hand they tell me they won't sponsor a program that insults race, religion or political views, but on the other hand, the View is a show they are proud to sponsor...I guess only certain political or religous views are off limits for Clorax.

I sent complaints to Hasbro and Dove and few others. Dove was the only company to respond. They said it was a matter of personal interpretation on how some people view comments that are made on TV.
