This morning, I had read on Comcast.net that Mexico City had legalized abortion through the first trimester. Now that article has disappeared. There was a pic of abortion advocates dressed as clergy/religious. Did anyone else see this disgrace?

Mexico City legalized abortions, with "no questions asked", during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

And, of course, the more liberal media are delighted with this . . . abomination . . . as progress.

This decision is astonishing to me because Mexico is such a Catholic country and Mexico City is the site of the Icon, not made by human hands, of the Theotokos of Guadalupe.

Lord have mercy !

Dear Sirs:

This decission was really repulsive, of course this pseudo-prolife groups in Mexico who have served as a tool of the National Action Party (currently governing) blame the left-wing parties PRD and PRI (it's all about politics).

However, I believe their opposition is mere demagogy, they will not oppose the decission, the infamous law will not be vettoed by the President whose government serves the multi-national companies and enterprises who wish there were no more Mexicans leaving to the territory controled by the United States, in the future.

Sadly, Mexico City will become an abortion centre not only in Mexico, but also in neighbouring countries as most health institutions will be allowed to perform 80 abortions each day.

On e would blame the liberal media and government officials, but I see them as bigots, not as Liberals. A sincere liberal would allow different opinions to be expressed (even those exposed by those who do not agree with abortion). However, the National Government (controled by the suposedly Catholic PAN party) will start a legal procedure against Cardinal Rivera only because he said that the deputees were doing wrong (they even want to dennounce Pope Benedict XVI). They have insulted and defamated those who disagree with abortion and not only this, they have openly insulted Christians, Christ, His Blessed Mother, etc.

This is a world-wide dictatorship. First it came the gay marriage which is now legal in Mexico and then this. It's the recommendation of the European Union and the developped countries in order to offer more favourable trade agreements, and all this.

Eastern European countries (Orthodox Nations) will also approve this, and the rest of Latin America. Take this for granted

As I said before, modern-day Mexico is not nearly as "Catholic" as it's purported to be.

As they said over at Rorate Caeli, human sacrifice is once again legally condoned in Tenochtitlan.

O Virgin of Guadalupe, pray unto God for us.
