Hi,

Please pray for me: Im doing an interview on gay adoption with a USC journalism student Friday morning. It will be the con side. Shes taping (audio and video). Ive got all my talking points, and a list of statistics I will give her to support my statements. She says shes neutral. JT Finn was asked, but he is too busy to do it.

Lord make clear your path and direction for this student of yours, and grant wisdom that words are given to bring forth your ways Jesus as truth.

To all who offered prayers on behalf of my friend Tesa for her interview refuting the advocacy of "gay adoptions," I thought you'd like to know the outcome. Here is what she wrote to me:

Thanks a million for all your prayers and other offerings! The Interview went really well---I had my stuff down (not opinion, but facts, taken from totally secular sources relying heavily on medical journal studies). The vidiographer was very impressed with all the information I had, and the work I had done in my preparation. Thanks for your prayers!

A lot went wrong beforehand:

I somehow deleted my talking points and all the reference sources after spending three hours preparing them.

Once I had done another talk, I went to print it out. My printer wasnt working. I had bought a new toner cartridge yesterday, as I knew it needed replacement. However, the copy machine told me I needed another cartridge replaced (they work together), which message I had not previously noticed, if it was posted at all.

I had to write out by hand all my notes.

Sleep was interrupted by many bad dreams last night, so I didnt get a good nights rest.

She arrived thirty-minutes early! I was in the midst of vacuuming, but I was glad to get the session over with, anyway.

Something minor I realized after the filming was completed: one of my sleeves was turned up (with a cuff); I had neglected to turn the other sleeve likewise in my hurry to prepare stuff. I just had to laugh!

She said several times she was very impressed with my preparation and all the information I had on the subject. I reiterated when I accompanied her to her Jeep as she was leaving that this is not a civil-rights issue, nor one to be judged solely by emotion. The facts speak for themselves that homosexual adoption (and marriage) are bad and undermine society.

Pax Christi,
Tesa

Glory to God! Now our Good Lord may she continue on this path you have set before her, that many souls will hear and be converted.

0 Christ our God, who at all times and at every hour, both in heaven and on earth, are worshipped and glorified, long;suffering and plenteous in mercy and compassion; who love the just and show mercy to the sinners; who call all men to salvation through the promise of the blessings to come: Do you, the same Lord, receive also our supplications at this present time, and direct our lives according to your commandments. Sanctify our souls; purify our bodies; set our minds right; clear up our thoughts, and deliver us from every sorrow, evil and distress. Surround us with your holy Angels so that being guarded and guided by their presence, we may arrive at the unity of the faith and the knowledge of your ineffable glory; for blessed are you unto the ages of ages. Amen.
