There is an icon of St. Alexis of Wilkes Barre where he's holding a scroll that says:
"This is the Teaching of the Christian Orthodox Church. This is the Teaching of your forefathers, your fathers: this is your Faith, through which all of us will come to salvation. Hold to it! Amen."

After some time of discernment, I heeded his call.
Today, April 25, 2007, I was Chrismated into the Holy Orthodox Faith.
I wasn't going to write anything about this, but now I can't seem to contain myself!

Oh, and either by coincidence or by Providence, today is the feast of the Evangelist Mark and my name is Marc (French version, if you will).
But I'm now a member of an ACROD parish, so I have to remember it's actually only April 12, so it's the feast of St. Basil.

I promised Pyrohy I'd change my name to "Orthodox domilsean" for a bit in his honor, I suppose. Maybe I should have first changed my screen name to "galupki" (not halupki, I'm Polish) so I could be "Orthodox galukpi" to his, properly speaking, pierogi.

I just must say that we should all be saying Congrats to Domilsean.
This is a very important milestone in the life of one of our fellow long time posters here. This is far more important that what Rosie said or how tall the pope is!
