Lord Jesus Christ my God, who carried Your own Holy Cross to Golgotha, grant Penthaetria YOUR strength, patience and wisdom to bear the burdens of parenthood. Fulfill in her and heal her and the children - especially Nathaniel - in anything areas that may be lacking and grant that through our prayers and those of Your Holy Mother, her family will be healed and may grow closer to You and a Life in Christ. Amen

Lord Jesus Christ, Who through your mercy, resurrected the only son of the widow in Nain; Penthaetria prays to You in need and all alone, putting her hope in You God and asking for help. O You who fulfill our every need and complete everything we lack, grant Penthaetria faith, courage, love and understanding of Your Will. Remember Your Servant Deacon Nicoli (sp) in Your kingdom, always now and forever. Amen

Amen.

Prayers for perseverance, courage, and Divine help for Penthaetria today and always. May our Lord have mercy upon the soul of her beloved husband fallen asleep in the Lord, Deacon Nikolai.

Humbly and sincerely,
In Christ our Lord,
Alice

Thank you for your prayers... I've been offline for several days (wonderful trip to the Grand Canyon with my mother and sons biggrin ) and am just now seeing this.

My whole family stands in need of your prayers:

My brother died suddenly in January.
My sister had her entire stomach removed in January due to a malignant tumor -- she seems to be recovering well, thank God.
My mother lives alone, grieves for her son, and fears for my sister.
My sons and I still miss Deacon Nicholas terribly ... the boys are now 5 and 9. It's tragic when a 5-year old talks nonchalantly about "Daddy died. Uncle Leroy died. Auntie Jane has a tumor in her tummy and she could die. How did the tumor get in Daddy's brain? When are you going to die, Mommy?"

Prayers. Prayers. Prayers...

Our souls and our hearts go out for you, always, dear sister in Christ...and for your precious boys and for your mother...she is suffering a pain that no woman and mother should ever have to suffer--that of losing a child first and foremost, that of seeing her one daughter lose a spouse, and that of seeing another daughter suffer such a devastating disease and operation.

I feel compelled to pray with all my heart and soul for your dear mother. May our God bless her with abundant spiritual blessings and graces for the suffering of her heart. If you wouldn't mind sharing her name with us publicly or privately, we could pray even more intimately for her...and ofcourse, always for you who are also suffering in mourning for a brother and a husband!

With love in Christ,
Alice

Almighty God, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, come to her help and deliver the family from this difficulty that besets that. I believe Lord, that all trials of life are under Your care and that all things work for the good of those who love You. Take away fear, anxiety and distress. Help them to face and endure difficulty with faith, courage and wisdom. Grant that these trials may bring them closer to You for You are their rock and refuge, comfort and hope, delight and joy. they trust in Your love and compassion. Blessed is Your name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

Almighty Father, be mindful of my sister, Penthaetria, her sons, her mother, Miriam, and her extended family, for whom I humbly pray and commend to Your gracious care and protection. Be, O Lord, their Guide and Guardian in all their endeavors. Lead them into the path of Your Truth. Draw them ever nearer to You. Grant that they may lead a god-fearing and righteous life, always in Your love. Grant that their souls, being helped by Your Grace and sanctified by Your Holy Mysteries, may be prepared for their passage to eternal life by a life that is now temperate, industrious, diligent, devout, and charitable. Have mercy on them and save them that they may finally attain to a Perfect Communion with You, Our God, both in this life and in the life to come. Grant to them whatever special graces You know they need at this trying time of their lives. Give them the faith to see Your Providential Hand in all things even when they do not understand what You are allowing to happen. Help them to always remember that tragedies and calamities are not something You cause but rather allow to happen to turn us all time and time again toward You, Our Father, Our God, and Our Protector. For to You are due all glory, honor, and worship, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever. AMEN.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, guide our existence by your wisdom and grace. Strengthen us to place our trust in you when we face the trials of this life. Have mercy upon the mother of our dear sister and Nicholas, her spouse in the arms of our Lord, and upon the entire family. Be ever near them in their time of need. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy..........
