I have a visor clip of St. Christopher and my Guardian Angel (from St. Nicholas Church in Orlando), prayers cards of funerals of family and friends tucked in my visor, a small wooden cross hanging from my mirror from the Slovak Shop on EBay (free with my Chotki order), one wooden Chotki, and a small plastic triptych of the Theotokos, Jesus Christ, and St.Nicholas in the traditional Sofrino style (also from Ebay from seller Eastern Imports). Plus my copy of the Inner Kingdom in the back to reread whenever I have to go somewhere and wait for a while.

And my car is blessed on the Feast of St. Elias. May he protect all of us!

In Christ,

Michael

Dear Michael,

Laminated prayer cards from funerals are great to use as transportable icons. The internment I recently went to was at an Orthodox seminary, yet the prayer card was of St. Francis! It was a beautiful one too!

Here is somewhere else I use them: in luggage! I always entrust my luggage to God and His Saints by placing these icons in them...(when I am flying overseas, the last thing I need is to lose luggage)

And I always have one in my wallet, and in my handbags too!

In Christ,
Alice

I got my window cling from Mt St Macrina two years ago I think. They were only like a couple of bucks. I'm sure you could call the sisters up and see if they made anything like that anymore. I wasn't able to go last yeah so I don't know if they had them then.
