Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Please pray for my reception into Holy Orthodoxy. I am meeting tomorrow afternoon with a local Orthodox priest and he has stated that he is more than willing to receive me into the Church. [ Linked Image]

Thank you all for your prayers. I met with my new priest today and will be received into the catechumenate on Sunday before Divine Liturgy. Since I have studied Orthodoxy and lived an Orthodox life while in the Byzantine Catholic Church, Father does not expect a terribly long or drawn-out catechumentate for me, and probably in a month or two (at the most) I will be chrismated and fully received into the Orthodox Church.
Timothy, (soon-to-be) catechumen

Several non-prayer related posts have been deleted from this thread this evening. As is posted on the top of this section non-prayer related posts are not permitted. Also other issues relating to Tims conversion were attempted to be dragged into this thread that can be viewed as inflammatory and uncharitable.
Hence this thread is being locked off. The administrators and moderators along with the membership offer their prayers wishing Tim Gods blessings on his spiritual journey along with His peace.

Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai
