Brother James Moore, O.P., a good friend of mine, was a passenger in a head-on collision. I understand that Br James was injured, but not too badly. Tragically his father, who was driving, was killed.
Please remember Mr Moore in your prayers, as well as Br. James and his family, both natural and spiritual.

Dear Father Maximos,
My humble prayers for all.
May our good Lord have mercy upon the soul of Brother James' father, Mr. Moore, who was taken from this world unprepared and suddenly, and for all of his loved ones who are mourning and grieving at this time. May our Lady Theotokos comfort and console them.
May God, through all the saints whom Brother James holds dear, see to his speedy and full recovery.
May God bless your monastery and bring your beloved fellow brother James back to your brotherhood soon. God will surely hear your holy prayers for him....
