Would someone mind recommending a book in which I could learn more about Saint Isaac and read more of what he wrote?

Thank you,
Andrea

Sister in Christ,

Besides Father Staniloae, whose works I highly recommend to anyone, Sebastian Brock is a fine exeget of Saint Isaac the Syrian.

You might read this book [amazon.com] , if you want, namely The Wisdom of Saint Isaac the Syrian.

Peace in Christ,

I recommend "The Spiritual World of Isaac the Syrian" by Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev, published by Cistercian Publications (http://www.cistercianpublications.org).
