My favorite ringtone at church, during the Divine Liturgy, is the "sounds of silence"!!
I am sorry, but I do not believe God is going to call you on your cell during the Liturgy, so please, please, leave your phone in the car or at home. If you are expecting an important phone call on a Sunday, more important than worshipping God, then please stay home!
I am disgusted at all the times the cell phones ring in our parish. And, if the parishoner can afford to spend
$50 a month on the cell phone, then at least drop an extra $5 in the basket each week.
