I've thought about reading Light for Life, but the thirty dollar price tag for all three volumes is rather pricey for a catechism. Is there anything in it that I'd be missing, since I already have The Orthodox Way by Kallistos Ware and The Faith by Clark Carlton?

Am I right or wrong that one who already has an Eastern Orthodox catechism doesn't need Light for Life?

I think volume 3 of the Light for Life series is a tidy, summary presentation of theosis. "The Orthodox Way" is a beautiful exposition of Orthodox spirituality, however, and it covers the same material as volume 3 of Light for Life and in more depth. So, you probably don't need volume 3 of Light for Life.
I haven't read "The Faith" by Clark Carlson, so I can't comment.

I'd recommend the Faith because it was edited and approved by bishops from every Eastern Orthodox jurisdiction in the United States.

Although the preface of The Faith mentions an Editorial Committee consisting of three bishops and one archimandrite, who are thanked by the author "for their input and corrections," perhaps it is an overly broad statement that the book "was edited and approved by bishops from every Eastern Orthodox jurisdiction in the United States"?
