We presently use the Sisters of St.Basil three volume Office Book. The books need to be replaced, they are falling apart. Is there a one volume we could purchase?

Thanks

The Stamford English Horologion is one volume. You can order directly from the chancery.

I would recommend the Melkite thing - it's probably the best available now. Although quite an expensive treat.

If you mean the Melkite Horologion, recently released, then you have your Horologion in one volume. But ... throughout the year you will need the Oktoechis and the appriopriate monthly Menaion to celebrate the liturgy. In Great Lent, you'll need the Triodion as well as those aforementioned; in Paschaltide, you'll replace the Triodion with the Pentekostarion.

In the Melkite church, today, we only have these liturgies available in a single book in Arabic.

There is a simple form of the Daily Office available in one volume from Eastern Christian Publications. The title is *Let Us Pray to the Lord -- Volume I: The Daily Office* and contains the entire Daily Office with sufficient propers in one book for an individual to pray the office on a personal basis. It does not include ALL the details as mentioned previously on this thread, but enough for personal usages. It's $30 for a small, hand-sewn, and hand-held prayer book size, with about 480 pages. The text is based on the Pittsburgh Ruthenian style of English trnaslation, and was approved in 1996 for publication by +Metropolitan Judson, of blessed memory. It can be purchased from their website.

Try to get all English Melkite menaion and octoechos from Light and Life Publishers - they're still available (12 vol. Meniaon + 4 Octoechos and Triodion). They've done excellent job. Surely, if you want to pray office properly, there will be never one volume edition to satisfy your wish.
