The only way a person can hear the Gospel message is through the preaching of the Word (Romans 10), therefore our task must be definitive in reaching under-reached and remote villages of the world with a Bible in their heart language. How do the Byzantine Catholics intend to communicate the precious truth of the Gospel when the church neglects to allow such a work to exist. The Protestants and their respective denominations have done a tremendous job in fulfilling the Great Commission through Bible translation.

Joel,

Just out of curiosity -- how do deaf people "hear" the Good News? And what is the basis for your claim that "the church neglects to allow such a work to exist"? The fact that you have heard the Gospel is testimony to the evangelization of the Eastern Churches for it was they who first spread the Gospel to the world.

Joel are you hear to ask questions and discuss or preach?

Most of us - even those like myself with some rather strong opinions - do our best to leave the soap box at the door.
