I have been collecting images of the Greek Catholics Beatified by JP2 During the papal visit of June 2001.
They are the following: Sister Josaphata (Michaelina) Hordashevska Father Leonid Feodorov Father Mykola Konrad Volodymyr Pryima Father Andrii Ischak Father Severian Baranyk Father Yakym Senkivskyi Father Zenovii Kovalyk Father Emilian Kovch Sister Tarsykia Matskiv Father Vitalii Bairak Father Roman Lysko Bishop Hryhorii Khomyshyn Bishop Theodore Romzha Bishop Josaphat Kotsylovsky Bishop Mykyta Budka Bishop Hryhorii Lakota Archimandrite Klymentii Sheptytsky Father Mykola Tsehelskyi Father Ivan Ziatyk Sister Olympia Olha Bida Sister Lavrentia Herasymiv Fahter Petro Verhun Father Oleksii Zarytskyi Bishop Mykola Charnetskyi Bishop Semeon Lukach Bishop Ivan Sleziuk Bishop Vasyl Velychkovsky
Can anyone provide their names in Ukrainian for me? In English, the transliterations of their names vary so widely, it is hard to find photos and icons of them online.

"Father Leonid Feodorov"
BISHOP! That was clipped and pasted from a Ukr. English language newspaper article. I am not certain, IIRC, it is believed he was secretly consecrated, but verifying that has been difficult. So perhaps they noted him in such a fashion "Just in case".

Thanks Dr. E. I don't think I have that one...
Part of the prob with google image searching is getting a transliteration of the name that matches with how the photo is labeled. Frequently Bl. Omeljan Kovc can be something spelled altogether different of anglicized somewhat, like Emilian Kovch or Emilian Kowacz. Heck, this actually happened in my family with brothers that "came over" at different times. Two brothers, same name, two different spellings...
That is why I am looking for the Ukie names in Cyrillic. Google with those, I figure I can find more.

Just noticed, even at this website: http://www.thanhsinhcong.org/saints_index/sainte60.htmThey note up front: EMILIAN KOVCH Also known as Omeljan Kovc; Emilian Kowacz And later in the text of the article, a fourth spelling is used when quoting him! "Father Kovtch" You can see how it is hard to track down good photos!

May the Lord bless and keep you Dr. E!
Thank you.
I have some of those, but some I did not have.
I have been kicking around an idea of creating a website of "Saint Photos".
Catholics today need to see photos of the saints. They need to see the saints and martyrs are real, alive today, and were people just like you and me.
