- Today, I say goodbye to my widow support group, people who have walked a brutal road with me -- please pray for these dear people who have suffered an unfathomable loss.
- Tomorrow, I say goodbye to my church family ('nuff said).
- Five days from now, on October 4, the movers will come to load up my house -- please pray for my sanity.
- Six days from now, the boys and I will get in a car and start driving West -- please pray for my attentiveness to the road and the boys' cooperation with me.
- Nine days from now, my sister has her 9-month scan -- please pray that her stomach cancer has not returned.
- Ten days from now, my mother has her second round of chemo -- please pray for her health and salvation.
- Eleven days from now, we will arrive in Tucson -- please pray for us to find a happy equilibrium and for us to settle into our new lives with ease.
In sum, please pray for me ... pray pray pray.  Oh yeah, also please pray that all my belongings arrive safely at my new home!

Dear Sister in Christ,
I pray to our good Lord that the next two weeks will be blessed, and that your guardian angels will be ever vigilant over all of you.
I pray to our blessed Virgin Mother in Heaven, to watch over you and console you and take care of you, as she only knows how...for she knows earthly grief (not only for our Lord and her son, but imagine how she must have felt when St. Joseph passed away), and earthly parenting.
My loving prayers for you...I will send your name off for commemoration at Proskomide at tomorrow's DL, and on Wed. (four days from now), we have a beautiful intimate Paraclisis to the Mother of God in our chapel, and I will give your name to be chanted out loud, and I will be there to pray along for you.
