I don't know if anyone has suggested this, I would hope so, but I sent EWTN a nice long e-mail telling them how much I appreciated them showing the celebration from Philadelphia. I made sure to let them know that I was Eastern Catholic and my entire family has been for generations, that my wife and I make decent money, are educated and would be willing to help support a regular program about Eastern Catholicism.
I went out of my way to suggest contacting various Eastern Catholic Churches, including Byzantine as well as others, and checking with them for programming they could use that would be provided for very little money if not outright free of charge. All it takes is a phone call. I said that I'm sure there are many Catholics who might find it interesting to hear an "Our Father" in the same language that Jesus would have used. And there are some Eastern Catholic churches that could provide that, as well as other prayers in Aramaic.
If enough of us e-mail them and suggest more programming geared towards Eastern Catholics, one never knows what we might find. But if we don't mention it to them that we appreciate the service that was televised, we give them no reason to do anything like it again. We all need to speak up and let our voices be heard.
