Where may I obtain the troparia that are intercalated between the beatitudes? Yours in Christ, Paul

Generally, the troparia read or chanted at the Beatitudes come from Odes 3 and/or 6 of the canon of the saint of the day, the canon of prefeast/postfeast, or from the Sunday Octoechos. Father David's Common Typikon gives the details for each day under Hours, and notes on which days the Beatitudes and their troparia may be used at the Divine Liturgy.

Of course, you will need a copy of the Menaion (twelve volumes) as well as the Sunday Octoechos; this is most likely why these troparia are seldom chanted.

Yours in Christ,
Jeff

Paul, for regular Sundays these are in the Octoechos. The St. John of Kronstadt Press Octoechos series has these texts nicely included in the four-volume Octoechos. You will need other texts for other times of the year, such as a Menaion, Triodion, etc.

The Stamford Typikon has the intercalation for feast days according to the month which is very helpful: http://www.stamforddio.org/typicon.htm This also states which days the usual "daily antiphons" are to be taken and not the Beatitudes.

For example, here is yesterday's (New Calendar): "On the Beatitudes, 8 troparia: 4 from Ode 3 and 4 from Ode 6 of canon of the Saint." I generally do not take these troparia outside of Sundays using the Octoechos.
