In no particular order, although many of these favorites are based on the fact that I could watch them over and over... and have.
Stalag 17 Star Wars (first installment) The Blues Brothers Where Eagles Dare Cop Land Alien (first installment) Dark City Ferris Bueller's Day Off Dead Man's Walk (not to be confused with Dead Man Walking) All James Bond films that don't star Roger Moore. All campy B horror movies from the late 50's and early 60's minus the Japanese monster movies (i.e., Godzilla).
Religious: Godspell Millions Chocolat
"Chick Flicks" (showing my tender side): Steel Magnolias Mrs. Henderson Presents Sixteen Candles Tea with Musolini Mrs. Palfry at the Claremont
And I know it's not what would be considered a "movie," but I have to add the British series "Upstairs, Downstairs."

I found Heart Huckabees intolerable. It made for quite a narrow satire of existentialism.

Zan - Red Dawn???? hehe its not one of my favs for its artistic cenematic value. Growing up there were 4 of us in our little group, it was tradition for us whenever we went on a road trip to watch Red Dawn (our friends mom had a tv and a vcr in the minivan which was really rare in the early 90s) so now when I watch Red Dawn it always brings back good memories and happier times I forgot to put "What Dreams May Come" on my list too

It's funny that I've seen nearly all of these movies and have liked them.
Hero, you mean the version from Hong Kong?

Either middle age does something to the memory, (mine), or you guys are all movie buffs, because I could only recall a few movies at first. Now that I have read your posts, I am recalling more of them, though I am basically only mentioning movies that I have and could watch many times...So, I will add to my other posts: 'Dr. Zhivago' 'The Wizard of Oz' 'Correlli's Mandolin' 'Jesus of Nazareth' 'The Producers' (the most recent version/I was fortunate to have seen the Broadway play for one of my anniversaries, and I have to say that the movie was just as good and hilarious as the play) There are some people, like my daughter, that will never get tired of watching movies over and over again. As you can see, I only do that with a very few movies. Are all the movies all of you listed, movies which you watch often, or just movies you recall as being your favorites? Alice

Tons of foreign and independent films whose titles escape me now but I'll record them as I remember them.
