The latest issue of "Byzantine Catholic World" from the Archeparchy of Pittsburgh includes a multi-page, detailed schedule of events, tips, etc. to help those who plan to attend. There will be several Divine Liturgies celebrated during the weekend, including one in Church Slavonic at 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. All others appear to be in English. The choice of music settings was not included in the article, however.

Yes, the weekend is a busy one. There are two slavonic liturgies. I hope I am not the only one in my age group that is there... I'm in my late 20's!! There never seems to be anyone my age at any church I visit. Sometimes you miss being able to relate to people your own age.

So, is the Slavonic Divine Liturgy on Sunday at 8:00 am or is the Slavonic Divine Liturgy at 9:00 am (as written on the Sisters of St. Basil the Great website)??

Jim, I plan on doing so. Flying into Pittsburgh and renting a car would be the way to go. The airport is probably 1 1/2 hours away from Uniontown.

SO WE DON"T MISLEAD PILGRIMS TRAVELING TO MT. MACRINA FOR '05 DORMITION PILGRIMAGE, CAN WE GET A CONFIRMATION ON THE TIME OF THE ONLY CHURCH SLAVONIC DIVINE LITURGY THAT IS USUALLY HELD AT 9:00 AM SUNDAY MORNING?
The Sisters of St. Basil the Great website has listed the schedule and it denotes the Sunday Church Slavonic Divine Liturgy as being at 9:00 am. Some posters here have been saying 8:00 am Sunday. Can we get an official confirmation so the many throngs of pilgrims won't miss this traditionally-sung Church Slavonic Divine Liturgy??

Since the on line version of the Byzantine Catholic World hasn't been updated since early May, can someone on the Forum cut and paste the Mt. Macrina schedule or provide a link (Archeparchial, other than the Sisters of St. Basil the Great link)? Me thinks the BCW has misprinted the time of the Sunday Church Slavonic Divine Liturgy. Ungcsertezs (inquiring minds would like to know...)
