Brothers and Sisters,
I have visited this site on and off for several years, and have found it to have some of the most intelligent and friendliest folks I've ever interacted with online. I have received much instruction in church history here, and been gratified to hear some great stories of vibrant Byzantine parishes. It was also through this site that I learned of John Vernoski when trying to learn the ropes as a cantor.

I am now writing a web journal on the topics of leadership, learning, and faith, (mostly non-religious but all colored by my my faith in Christ and experiences in the RCC and BCC). I would like to invite you all to read and post feedback, if you are so inclined.
The site is called Truth Be Told... [swansonmail.squarespace.com]
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Robert Swanson

The essays are intelligently written.

"On the whole, are the very rich actually happier people than us commoners? I don't think so."

It is very healthy for a person to realize this. It's easy to stress ourselves out over what we lack, or how unhappy we are in our lives because we don't "have it easy." We could easily put ourselves in the position where we daily feed envy and improper desire. That attitude will surly make someone unhappy.

If you have the patience for Aristotle, you may like reading Eudemian Ethics.
