Friends,

This past Fall, the Society of St. Hugh of Cluny sponsored some conferences featuring as speakers Fr. Uwe M. Lang and Mr. Martin Mosebach, two men who have been in the vanguard of those advocating a return to authentic Roman Catholic liturgy.

The Society has put up some YouTube audio/video links on their website:

Society of St. Hugh of Cluny Fall Conference [hughofcluny.blogspot.com]

Although they are speaking about the Traditional Latin Mass, some of their commentary transcends the specific Rite, IMHO, so some of you might find it interesting.

On "Part 5", Mr. Moseback, who is German, tells what I found to be a hilarious story about the impressions of a little Jewish boy after attending his first traditional Mass. I found that anecdote to be very funny, and you may wish to play that segment (the running time for that segment is about 9 mins, and the anecdote is toward the beginning of the 2nd Half).

Best regards,
Michael

Correction: the "joke" begins at 3:15 into the "tape".
