What are the best programs in the North America. St. Vladimir's and St. Tikhon's come to mind. What are the other programs?

Gordo lol. I have given up on degrees. I have more of them than any human needs to have. Yet, they have not brought me wealth or fame. Now as a church musician, I do have groupies. They are in their 80's but hey, I guess you take your groupies wherever you can get them.

What are the best programs... I guess it depends on what you mean by "best"...In my limited knowledge...some would say St. Vladimir's is "the best" since it is very "by the book", "program with theological meat"...etc...others would say St. Tikon's is "the best"...although it doesn't have a history of "theological giants" my understanding is they are very Orthodox in their program and one leaves there knowing what is and what is not Orthodox...no if's ands or buts...

Neither Christ the Saviour or Holy Trinity Seminaries offer Master Degrees, just diplomas or Bachelor's Degrees.
In IC XC, Father Anthony+
Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

newman theological college offers a good four year m.div. program that one completes from the perspective of their own faith tradition. this results in what i would see as a "healthy" mix of western (rc & protestant) and eastern (catholic & orthodox) of students and staff.

It would be nice if there was a Greek Catholic or Orthodox seminary in the midwest.

It is possible to obtain an M.A. in Applied Orthodox Theology from the St. Stephen's program of the Antiochian Church if you write a Master's thesis at the end of the program. The degree is given by the St. John Damascene School of Theology (University of Balamand) and accredited by the nation of Lebanon. What that means in terms of American marketability, I have no clue. But, so far I'm impressed with the St. Stephen's curriculum.
