Hello,

I will be traveling to Chicago this weekend. I don't have a car so won't be able to make it to Annunciation in Homer Glen. I might like to attend Ss. Volodymyr and Olha in Ukrainian Village, but cannot find a Divine Liturgy schedule. If anyone has suggestions for an eastern Catholic church near the Loop, I would like to know. Thanks!

Here's the schedule for St Nicholas, which is just the other side of Chicago Avenue.

Divine Liturgy
Sundays
7:00 AM
8:30 AM
10:00 AM
11:30 AM (English)

Weekdays
6:45 AM
8:00 AM

St Nicholas also has a Christmas Faire in their auditorium this Saturday 9 to 4 and Sunday 9 to 3.

Sts Volodymyr and Olha has at least 3 morning liturgies, all in Ukrainian, but definitely worth staying for anyway.

СЛАВА ІСУСУ ХРИСТУ!

As I recall the Divine Liturgies are 8, 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. at V&O. Natalka in the church office can verify if you need, and Great Vespers is at 5 p.m. Saturday evening. You will not be disappointed - the fuller choir usually sings the 9:30 Divine Liturgy.
