Hello,
I'm living in a country where Orthodoxy isn't spread very much.
On Sundays I've got to take the train to participate in the Liturgy.
Now I always wondered what the Orthodox Church has fixed for rules to keep the Sunday a holy day. There are a few shops in the train-station even opened on Sundays. Now I only reach this city on Sunday. Thsi shop uses to import an interesting magazine abpout literature from France. I wonder if I would be sinning, or, at least, not supremely living according to the commandments of the Church, if I would buy this magazine and, in this way, somehow promote working on Sundays.
This same consideration always strikes me when I visit a restaurant on Sundays or stay the night from Saturday to Sunday there.
Does anyone know what framework the Churches have fixed for their believers considering these problems?
Yours.
