Dear SPDundas,

As I pointed out earlier in the thread: the article that the original poster pointed to is from a "church" that predicts that the Pope is attempting to take over the world, bringing (almost) all Christians into abject submission, leading to the advent of Antichrist. Thus, it is very much in their interest to portray Catholics as "under the Pope's rule".

Oh...wow...I must have read it all wrong!!!

I thought the article was saying that the Vatican (via Benedict XVI) is trying to label the Pope as "First Among Equals" rather than the ultra-supreme ruler.

WOW...I must have read this all wrong...and I forwarded the article to friends saying it's "Good news"...WOW...I feel stumped and stupid!!!
