Heavenly Father, physician of our souls and bodies, Who have sent Your only-begotten Son and our Lord Jesus Christ to heal every sickness and infirmity, visit and heal also Your servant Ryan from all physical and spiritual ailments through the grace of Your Christ. Grant him patience in this sickness, strength of body and spirit, and recovery of health. Lord, You have taught us through Your word to pray for each other that we may be healed. I pray, heal Your servant Ryan and grant to him the gift of complete health. For You are the source of healing and to You I give glory, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Dear Friends:
Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. Wednesday, I had additiona tissue around and under the mole removed. The dermatologist who performed this procedure (not the same doctor as the one who removed the moles) told me in a very matter-of-fact manner that all the cancer was removed when the mole itself was removed. Of course, the tissue she removed Wednesday will be sent for a biopsy as a precautionary matter. She advised me to have my eyes examined (one can get melanoma in the eyes) and to see a dermatologist every 3 months. I am very thankful for this favorable outcome. Again, I am grateful for your prayers and encouragement.
In Christ,
Ryan

Psalms Chapter 23
1 1 A psalm of David. 2 The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. 2 In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me; 3 3 you restore my strength. You guide me along the right path for the sake of your name. 4 4 Even when I walk through a dark valley, I fear no harm for you are at my side; your rod and staff give me courage. 5 5 You set a table before me as my enemies watch; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 6 Only goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.

In Christ,
Ryan I received a call yesterday from the dermatology clinic. The biopsy results confirm what the doctor had said-the surrounding tissue is free of cancer. Thanks be to God! Ryan

Ryan, it sounds like I had the same thing done recently. My father was diagnosed with a melanoma which prompted me. I don't like going to the doctor, so I had been putting it off and my wife was bugging me about it and that pushed it over the edge. I had one mole removed which the biopsy came back as saying was an extreme atypia, meaning I think still pre-cancerous but not looking good. They then had to excise all the tissue around it as a precaution and I have to go back something like once a year now.
