Baba used to me of how so many of our family never replied to her letters sent to Ukraine in the 30's. She thought that they never got them but the truth did come out! A book worth reading, probably no longer in print or in libraries is called "The Black Deeds of the Kremlin Book 1 and 2" It will open you eyes and rip your heart from your chest.
People from the area around Ukraine have been coming to Scotland for several centuries, if Robert the Bruce's Declaration of Ardbroath be any indication ("Scottia" being a play on "Scythia" which also, according to the Warrior-King, is why the same Patron Saint Andrew the Apostle).
LORD JESUS CHRIST, SON OF THE LIVING GOD, HAVE MERCY! Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, both now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen.
