Did you know that there is a shrine in Covina for ST Nectarios? They have a prayer service every Wednesday night.I have been meaning to go but I have three kids 4 and under. They have a website if you look it up it will come right up. In case you didn't know Covina is about 25 minutes east of LA.

Prayers for your family.

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

My friends,

Tomorrow is the day we visit Dr. Tsimerinov at Cedars Sinai Hospital for the results of Debbie's last tests, she is very anxious and then again afraid.

May the Lord have mercy and be kind to her, may He heal and comfort her in mind, body and spirit. Amen

Prayers to God, through the intercessions of His most Holy Mother and through the intercessions of St. Nektarios, for a good outcome to Debbie's medical tests.

Lord have mercy!

Prayers for you and Debbie.

I'm sure that the 'not knowing' stage is the worst part

James, my brother,

Prayers for Debbie - that the test results are favorable and her fears are calmed, and prayers for you, my good friend, that you be granted all the strength that you need to support her in this time of trial. May God grant you both many years in health and happiness.

Neil

Well, we just got back a little while ago, the good news, the tests revealed no cancer, no problems with blood and spinal fluid.

The not so good news, no cause and treatment at this time, though we are going to have a genetics screening, for the benefit of our daughter and grandkids.

I appreciate it if Debbie can be added to your daily prayers, she has been battling this for over a year and it is wearing on her.

We thank all for the prayers and thoughts...

My continued prayers for Debbie's health...

I don't remember exactly what her symptoms were, but I would do research that offers holistic and natural cures for them. There is alot of information on the internet.

God bless you both.

Someone has kindly suggested that I should clarify my wife's condition for people to understand, so in a very brief way here it currently stands, she has a neurological condition that has affected her motor skills, speech, walking and all that goes with them.

There is no treatment available at this time and the future is not bright.

Just 18 months ago she was a happy grandma of 8, free to enjoy life and now is confined to a wheel chair or the limited use of a walker at home.

Hope this helps in the understanding of what she is experiencing.

I now have a personal glimpse and respect for how + Pope John Paul II spent his last years...

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
