I know a bi-ritual Roman Catholic priest who was very active in the Opus Sanctorum Angelorum and gave retreats for them. He was stunned when those in power banned some devotions. He had no clue as to why they did so.

However, he was also concerned about the increase in Wicca and other satanic movements within Catholicism.

He recently started praying the Latin 1962 Mass especially with all the changes going on in the Byzantine and Roman rites.

Referring to Wicca, as a satanic movement, when those who practice it have no affiliation with Satan or other Christian entities, is not very charitable.

And I'm Catholic, not Wiccan.

I have known several ex-Wiccans and they said that it was of Satan. Of course, they only said that in retrospect, not while they were within the movement.

I also knew several people who played with a Ouiji board and who needed to have prayers of exorcism due to troubled dreams, etc.

Another person was involved with Scientology and needed prayers of exorcism, too.

If we get involved with any group that is not part of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, we can be led into darkness, which is the realm of Satan.
