Sheptytsky Institute Study Days: An Eastern Christian Feast for the Mind and Heart
July 2-5, 2008
Dear Friends of the Institute,
Please accept our warmest invitation to attend our first-ever Sheptytsky Institute Study Days � An Eastern Christian Feast for the Mind and Heart � to be held this summer from July 2 to 5 at Saint Paul University in Ottawa.
This is a conference for the members of the general public � adults and youth alike � who are interested in deepening their knowledge of Eastern Christian theology and spirituality. For those concentrating on academic studies, there is a possibility of earning up to six undergraduate credits by continuing with us for two more weeks of courses and liturgical services.
We turn to you to assist us in advertising the Study Days by sharing this information we have included on our website. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like us to send you some posters or brochures to display in your parishes and other institutions. A vital way of helping us, of course, is through your enthusiastic promotion of the conference as you speak to the people you know. We are also looking for young adults to volunteer some time helping with the youth program. Most importantly, please pray that the participants realize a fruitful outcome to their spiritual and intellectual seeking.
